This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Develop and implement scalable enablement initiatives, including technical learning paths and certifications (e.g., using MindTickle or comparable platforms).
• Facilitate one-on-one technical enablement sessions for strategic partners (e.g., workshops, roadmap discussions, technical deep-dives).
• Act as the technical consultant for partners integrating Docker into their service offerings or product stacks.
• Work collaboratively with partner and Docker sales teams to promote joint account planning and co-selling opportunities.
• Assist in product positioning and technical validation during collaborative sales efforts.
• Provide clear guidance on “sell-with” and “sell-through” partner models, detailing what’s generally available and ready for delivery (“what’s on the truck”).
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on aligning roadmaps, participating in beta/EAP programs, and executing technical integrations with CSPs and ISVs.
• Champion partner-driven feature requests and co-development initiatives back to the Docker product team.
• Partner with regional Field SEs to ensure alignment with market-specific needs and vertical priorities (e.g., FedGov, EMEA, APAC).
• Advocate for regional partner technical requirements and priorities during internal planning meetings.
• Create and maintain reusable technical documentation such as integration guides, architectural diagrams, and enablement videos customized for partners.
• Represent Docker at partner events, conferences, and webinars as a technical specialist and advocate.
• Over 7 years of experience in solutions engineering, partner engineering, or related technical positions, with a demonstrated background in a partner-facing or channel SE role at a developer tools, DevOps, DevSecOps, or cloud infrastructure organization.
• Profound technical knowledge of Docker, containers, and contemporary CI/CD and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Understanding of application security principles and the importance of securing the software supply chain, including SBOMs, image scanning, and secure delivery pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure technologies, and best practices in security.
• Excellent ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in creating scalable enablement content and delivering both one-on-one and group technical training.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and engineering.
• Willingness to travel to partner locations and events (approximately 30% expected).
