This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead technical enablement initiatives for partners, empowering their teams to effectively implement and promote the adoption of Chainguard Containers and Libraries on behalf of their clients.
• Collaborate with the alliances and channel team (Partner Account Managers, AEs, SEs, and CSMs) to comprehend partner capabilities, challenges, and go-to-market strategies to foster joint approaches, value realization, and shared growth.
• Create and uphold partner-focused technical content, including integration manuals, reference architectures, and best practices, to facilitate partners in scaling Chainguard implementations autonomously.
• Assist partners in post-sales technical interactions, which include co-delivery of implementations, architecture assessments, and escalation support for intricate customer environments.
• Serve as the main technical intermediary between the partner ecosystem and Chainguard's Product and Engineering teams, relaying partner-sourced requirements and feedback to shape roadmap prioritization.
• Cultivate and sustain an in-depth understanding of partner technical proficiencies, identifying gaps and designing enablement initiatives to address them.
• Keep partner-level architecture documentation up to date and disseminate best practices and lessons learned throughout the organization.
• Be a collaborative team member - engage, instruct, and learn from both the Chainguard team and the wider partner community.
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in a post-sales role supporting clients, preferably in a partner-facing technical capacity such as partner engineering, alliances, or channel solutions architecture.
• Over 8 years of experience in developing high-performance multi-tier applications.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and Containers.
• Experience working with or within a partner ecosystem (SIs, ISVs, resellers, or technology alliances) and a solid understanding of partner go-to-market strategies.
• Capability to convey technical information in both highly technical and non-technical terms depending on the audience - from partner engineers to executive stakeholders.
• Proven ability to develop scalable technical enablement programs and content for partner audiences.
• A continuous learner with a strong intellectual drive for excellence and a desire to devise solutions to complex challenges.
• At least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Strong working knowledge of software development processes, practices, and software engineering design principles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams, alliances, and business partners.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone.
