This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
β’ Writing loans and parabrokering for residential home loans (approximately 40%β70% of the role depending on current volumes).
β’ Managing a team of three offshore members daily, which includes one seasoned credit analyst and two loan processors, through consistent coaching and mentoring.
β’ Overseeing daily pipeline management in coordination with the onshore team to ensure files progress smoothly.
β’ Anticipating lender policy challenges and addressing issues proactively at an early stage.
β’ Enhancing workflows to improve turnaround times, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
β’ Gaining a comprehensive understanding of current team operations, documenting processes, pinpointing friction points or repetitive low-value tasks, and implementing effective solutions.
β’ Suggesting and executing enhancements across software, AI tools, automation, training, and workflow systems.
β’ Collaborating with technical workflow consultants to facilitate process improvements.
β’ Fostering a positive offshore work culture that is results-oriented, builds connections despite distance, and is both fulfilling and enjoyable.
β’ Partnering with the onshore team to develop and monitor reporting measures and performance metrics.
β’ Extensive hands-on experience in parabrokering with operational and leadership capabilities.
β’ A minimum of **6 yearsβ experience in Australian residential mortgages**, with recent experience in a parabrokering role.
β’ Strong credit knowledge across various lenders and their lending policies.
β’ Confidence in managing complex lending scenarios, including company/trust structures, investment lending, self-employed lending, and high LVR loans.
β’ Significant exposure to lenders such as **CBA, St George, Macquarie, and Bankwest**.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively with BDMs and assessors on a daily basis.
β’ Experience working with at least **two Australian mortgage firms** (preferred).
β’ Proven experience in leading, mentoring, or coaching team members, with a genuine passion for helping others succeed.
β’ A mindset oriented towards systems and processes.
β’ Comfort in utilizing and enhancing mortgage technology and systems, ideally including **ApplyOnline, Mercury, Quickly, and Asana**.
β’ A calm, proactive, and solution-focused approach.
