This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and oversee the media strategy, channel distribution, and revenue objectives for each designated account.
• Collaborate with search strategists on joint accounts to create integrated cross-channel media strategies.
• Take ownership of revenue and contribution margin targets, ensuring acquisition objectives are met.
• Track ecommerce scorecards, contribution margin incrementality, Profit Compass, pipeline, and cost-per-acquisition metrics.
• Analyze and comprehend performance metrics such as CM, MER, aMER, ROAS, CAC, CPL, and pipeline contribution.
• Identify opportunities for budget reallocation and present strategic recommendations.
• Coordinate with Account Marketing Directors and creative teams regarding media plans, KPIs, performance trends, creative direction, client perceptions, and budgets.
• Convert brand goals into paid social channel briefs for media buyers.
• Act as the paid social representative in client meetings.
• Collaborate with the Director of Paid Media on account health, strategic adjustments, and potential risks.
• Lead monthly internal evaluations of paid social performance.
• Oversee social strategy, including platform selection, campaign structure, audience strategy, and bidding approach.
• Brief and assess media buyers’ campaign setups and performance metrics.
• Maintain platform certifications and keep up-to-date with social trends, algorithm modifications, and best practices.
• Collaborate with creative and copy teams to develop advertising concepts.
• Manage the testing roadmap and ensure a continuous creative testing framework is in place.
• Formulate hypotheses and conduct multivariate testing.
• Document and disseminate insights on creative performance across accounts.
• A minimum of 4 years of direct experience in paid social strategy, primarily for ecommerce enterprises.
• Extensive knowledge of Meta (Facebook/Instagram).
• Proficiency in at least one other social media platform, such as TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, or LinkedIn.
• Experience in an agency setting managing multiple client portfolios and competing priorities.
• Daily utilization of LLMs to enhance analysis, reporting, and strategic initiatives, with demonstrated workflows.
• Proven success in generating profitable growth through paid social and managing revenue and contribution margin results.
• Understanding of ecommerce unit economics and measurement frameworks, including contribution margin, MER, blended ROAS, CAC, and LTV:CAC.
• Familiarity with daily and weekly incrementality and incrementality testing.
• Experience in creating, managing, and owning media plans with budget responsibilities.
• Experience in briefing and guiding media buyers.
• Strong client-facing abilities and capacity to present strategic insights and performance data.
• Analytical precision and capability to interpret platform metrics into business terminology.
• Proficiency in analytics tools such as GA4, Northbeam, or Triple Whale.
• Working knowledge of ecommerce platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce.
• Ability to juggle multiple accounts in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
