Senior Organizational Change Management, OCM Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a member of a high-achieving, matrix-structured OCM Team dedicated to developing and executing change management strategies and plans that enhance employee engagement, accelerate adoption, and increase utilization across a diverse array of modern IT deliverables.

• Work in close partnership with the OCM Team Lead and fellow team members while directly managing your responsibilities alongside a service delivery Project Manager (PM).

• Implement structured methodologies and spearhead change management initiatives.

• Utilize change management processes and tools to devise strategies that facilitate the adoption of changes necessitated by the introduction of new modern IT developments and deliverables.

• Assist in the design, development, delivery, and oversight of business process reengineering and strategic communications efforts.

• Create and implement change assessments.

• Conduct pre/post-assessments to evaluate the impact of changes.

• Identify key stakeholders and stakeholder segments, perform impact analyses, and evaluate change readiness.

• Contribute insights, document requirements, and assist in designing and executing training and orientation programs.

• Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation strategies.

• Consult, facilitate, and provide coaching to project teams.

• Ensure project communications align with the overarching strategy and plans.

• Employ various communication mediums to enhance the communication process and collaborate with web teams and other technical resources to optimize technology usage.

• Coordinate with OCM Training teammates to set up in-person or virtual classroom courses, workshops, conferences, and seminars.

• Proactively seek, plan, and lead significant information technology initiatives and projects.

• Demonstrate and apply extensive knowledge across critical tasks and high-impact assignments.

• Offer OCM technical guidance and cross-training to peers in areas of expertise.

• Assess performance outcomes and recommend significant adjustments that influence short-term project growth and success.

• Act as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.

• Plan OCM project stages and evaluate business and user adoption implications for each phase.

• Monitor progress to ensure that deadlines, standards, and budgetary targets are achieved.

• Engage in complex thinking, manage tasks, and mentor/grow team members.

• Serve as the daily point of contact for OCM for Development Teams and client leads.

• Oversee the daily operations of the team; identify and manage coordination with other teams.

• Lead Sponsorship & Engagement initiatives; integrate with Governance and Relationship Forums.

• Provide OCM status updates to the team lead and fellow team members.

• Conduct Risk and Opportunity assessments.

• Exceptional soft skills are required daily; strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication, and the ability to anticipate business and client needs.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must currently possess an adjudicated Secret Clearance (or higher) or be capable of obtaining and maintaining one.

• 12+ years of relevant experience (a Bachelor’s degree in a pertinent field may replace 5 years of relevant experience).

• Demonstrated experience in implementing OCM within Waterfall/AGILE and hybrid environments.

• Capable of serving as a resource to team members and participating in team and professional meetings.

• Ability to act as an OCM liaison between Release and Deployment teams.

• Experience in tracking and assessing data analytics related to the speed of adoption, proficiency, and utility metrics over time.

• Skilled in identifying and proposing improvements and enhancements to OCM processes, analyses, methodology, and change implementation.
