This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

• Design, develop, and implement robust and efficient Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.

• Optimize existing PL/SQL code and SQL queries for enhanced performance and scalability.

• Collaborate with application development teams to grasp business requirements and transform them into technical specifications.

• Conduct database performance tuning, including strategies for indexing, query optimization, and improvements in schema design.

• Develop and maintain data migration scripts and ETL processes.

• Create and uphold comprehensive documentation for database designs, procedures, and processes.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in both production and development environments.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to initiatives that promote knowledge sharing within the team.

• Ensure data integrity and security across all database operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 7 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.

• Expert-level proficiency in crafting complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

• Strong grasp of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning techniques, and industry best practices.

• Experience with large-scale database systems and high-volume transaction processing.

• Familiarity with database design principles, data modeling, and normalization.

• Proficient in using version control systems (e.g., Git) and SDLC methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging capabilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with Oracle database tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar applications.
