Senior Oracle Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and tailor Oracle EBS modules utilizing OAF components, PL/SQL, APEX, Reports, and XML Publisher.

• Construct bespoke workflows and approval procedures via Oracle Workflow Builder.

• Execute integrations with external applications through APIs, FTP, and Web Services.

• Develop Custom Web ADI solutions for data retrieval and uploading using Excel.

• Oversee data migration and conversion activities involving data extraction and transformation.

• Create SQL scripts to query and manipulate data within the Oracle database.

• Offer continuous support for existing EBS applications and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

• Perform system testing and validation for new features and improvements.

• Detect and resolve performance challenges within EBS applications.

• Enhance PL/SQL code and SQL queries for optimal performance.

• Generate technical documentation for the solutions developed.

• Educate end-users on new functionalities and custom applications.

• Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and convey technical concepts effectively.

• Mentor junior developers and conduct knowledge transfer sessions on best practices in Oracle development tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience.

• Extensive knowledge of OAF components, including View Objects, Application Modules, Entity Objects, and Controller Updates.

• Understanding of Java, XML, and JavaScript in relation to OAF.

• Expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, Java, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow Builder, and JDeveloper.

• Experience with Oracle Database and associated performance-tuning tools.

• Familiarity with Oracle EBS R12 and later versions along with their specific functionalities.

• Knowledge of the AIM methodology.

• Strong analytical abilities to identify and resolve issues.

• Capacity to collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate technical concepts.

• Ability to mentor junior developers and facilitate knowledge-transfer sessions.
