Senior Oracle DBA – System Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Manage and provide support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12 databases

• Install, set up, patch, and upgrade Oracle databases

• Implement comprehensive monitoring using Oracle Enterprise Manager

• Design, document, and maintain effective backup and restore procedures

• Create, document, and execute cloning procedures across various environments

• Configure and optimize the database and application tiers

• Diagnose and resolve incidents in production

• Offer technical leadership and facilitate knowledge transfer

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams during deployments

• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours assistance

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10+ years of practical experience as an Oracle DBA and System Administrator supporting Oracle E-Business Suite R12

• Demonstrated experience with Oracle Exadata hardware

• Extensive experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)

• Strong expertise in RMAN backups and recovery procedures

• Proven experience in designing and executing cloning procedures for EBS environments

• Familiarity with configuring and tuning databases for parallel concurrent processing

• In-depth knowledge of ASM, Grid Infrastructure, Oracle RAC, and Linux for Oracle

• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting

• Oracle certifications (OCA/OCP/OCE) are preferred

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
