Senior Oracle Database Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute database strategies, standards, and best practices

• Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth, high-quality database modifications that align with business objectives

• Diagnose and resolve complex integration issues and database problems

• Actively improve database performance

• Identify and address root-cause problems

• Assist with mission-critical tasks, including on-call rotations, major upgrades, and disaster recovery testing

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Oracle technologies, such as Data Guard, RMAN, RAC, and performance tuning

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

• Skilled in OEM, AWR, ADDM, ASH, SQL Developer, and TOAD

• Understanding of Oracle Security and Auditing practices

• Background in monitoring databases, networks, and infrastructure

• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, PeopleSoft, EBS R12, JDE, and possibly Oracle APEX

• Experience with Oracle versions 18c/19c/21c

• Proficient in SQL Server versions 2017-2022

• Knowledgeable in Linux versions 7-9 and Windows Server versions 2016-2022

• Applicant must be a US citizen
