Senior Optimization Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as the senior voice and primary authority on all matters related to Adobe Target, providing guidance to both technical and business stakeholders regarding testing strategies, personalization architecture, and best practices for the platform.

• Constructively and confidently challenge client stakeholders when they suggest approaches that diverge from Adobe Target best practices, drawing on direct, hands-on experience instead of secondhand knowledge.

• Remain informed about the Adobe Target roadmap, new feature launches, and overarching trends in personalization and experimentation (such as AI-driven personalization and integration with Adobe Experience Platform / Journey Optimizer) and convert new insights into actionable recommendations for clients.

• Supervise and conduct quality assurance on test design, targeting logic, audience segmentation, and implementation to guarantee technical accuracy prior to deployment.

• Mentor and support junior optimization specialists actively working within the platform, reviewing their work and enhancing the technical standards.

• Serve as a liaison between strategic/business goals and the technical aspects of the Adobe Target platform, demonstrating ease in both whiteboard strategy discussions and implementation reviews with engineers.

• Represent the optimization practice in client governance meetings, roadmap discussions, and executive presentations, bringing both authority and specificity to the table.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in conversion rate optimization, personalization, or digital experimentation, with the majority of that time spent actively using Adobe Target.

• Clear career progression from a hands-on practitioner to a senior strategic or leadership position, which should be evident in your experience rather than merely your job title.

• Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of the Adobe Target ecosystem, including recent platform enhancements, AI/ML-based personalization features, and its function within the wider Adobe Experience Cloud (Analytics, AEP).

• Proven ability to advise and sway senior technical and/or opinionated stakeholders, demonstrating comfort in defending recommendations under scrutiny.

• Strong grasp of test design principles, including statistical significance, sample size/power, segmentation strategies, and frequent implementation challenges.

• Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, capable of shifting between technical detail and business-level narratives.

• Experience in a client services, consulting, or agency setting is a significant advantage due to the client-facing nature of this role.
