This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Senior Operations Manager oversees the clinical components of our dialysis operations within a specified region by providing effective leadership and managing all facets of customer service, quality patient care, and clinical oversight.
• Cultivates robust relationships, maintains regular communication, and ensures visibility with all team members, clients (such as Managed Healthcare, DOC/BOP, etc.), and physicians.
• Implements cost containment strategies for all major cost factors including staffing ratios impacting payroll, recruitment (resorting to agency hiring only as a last option), and inventory/supplies, all while adhering to relevant company and state regulatory standards.
• Adopts an "ownership mentality" for each facility within their region.
• Maintains comprehensive oversight for operational efficiency, clinical excellence, customer service, relationship-building, financial prudence, and regional leadership.
• Offers leadership, guidance, and coaching to all direct reports and clinical personnel to foster an engaged and productive workforce.
• Ensures that all employees in the region receive mandatory training and education in accordance with company policies and compliance with ongoing educational requirements.
• Supervises staff retention efforts, which may include employee appreciation initiatives, continuing education, engagement surveys, and other activities that enhance the work environment for staff.
• Must have graduated from an Accredited Nursing School or possess 2 years of experience in a correctional institution or in an industry servicing correctional institutions, or have over 5 years of dialysis management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience managing clinical staff in a leadership capacity.
• Must be eligible for clearance by the Department of Corrections (DOC) and Bureau of Prisons (BOP): a clean background and credit history are mandatory.
• Current CPR Certification required (or to be obtained within 3 months of hire).
• Willingness to travel as necessary for site management across the U.S., with potential for significant travel at times.
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, understanding, and effectively communicating in English.
• Strong technical/computer skills with laptops, tablets, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc.
