Senior Operations Engineer, Azure DevOps, AWS Serverless

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary responder for production incidents and exceptions, ensuring rapid triage and resolution of critical issues.

• Work in conjunction with development, QA, and architecture teams to enhance observability, logging, and alerting throughout the application stack.

• Manage the deployment and configuration of the ACB solution within production environments.

• Oversee the functionality and performance of the ACB solution to guarantee uptime and reliability.

• Develop and maintain operational playbooks and standard operating procedures for routine tasks and incident management.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and DevOps activities.

• Mentor junior engineers, offering guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

• Collaborate closely with global teams and stakeholders across different time zones to ensure smooth operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.

• At least 5 years of experience in managing and operating enterprise-level applications.

• Strong analytical skills with the capability to address complex technical challenges.

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps.

• Proficient in scripting languages (such as Python, Bash) and relational databases like PostgreSQL or SQL Server.

• Experience in deploying and managing cloud-native applications utilizing AWS services.

• Familiarity with the telecom billing domain is a significant advantage.

• Excellent communication and customer support abilities.

• Openness to participating in on-call rotations and providing production support.
