Senior Operational DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Address intricate challenges throughout the complete infrastructure lifecycle.

• Oversee and enhance third-party/open-source solutions.

• Track system performance and execute strategies to boost efficiency.

• Lead automation projects to streamline operations.

• Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Operations teams for configuration assistance.

• Perform post-incident analysis and suggest strategic enhancements.

• Engage in a 24x7 Operations on-call rotation.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 - 10 years of experience in development and release processes.

• AWS certification is desirable.

• Proficient in AWS Cloud Services, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Skilled in monitoring, managing, deploying, and upgrading software/servers across multiple environments.

• Familiar with observability and workflow tools.

• Experience in RDS performance optimization and administration, along with strong scripting and development capabilities on Linux.

• Expertise in designing robust, high-performance systems while implementing security best practices.

• Strong independent problem-solver and mentor.
