Senior Open Source Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• You will create innovative technologies within Falco, OSS Sysdig, their libraries, and our Open Source initiatives.

• You will take on the role of a contributor and potentially become a maintainer of these open source projects.

• You will assist users and adopters in becoming proficient with these tools and address any reported bugs.

• You will be accountable for managing releases and advancing modern automation efforts.

• You will interact with the community through platforms like Slack and GitHub, participate in conferences such as Kubecon, deliver technical presentations, and write articles on open source technologies, including the Linux kernel, Falco, and Sysdig.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer in cloud-native or security fields.

• Proficient programming skills in the following languages: C/C++, Golang, and Rust.

• Experience contributing to open source projects.

• Familiarity with Linux, eBPF, Containers, and Kubernetes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
