This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing up-to-date and thorough clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals.
• Articulate the clinical and economic advantages of the products.
• Develop and implement comprehensive territory plans.
• Convey branded sales messages and execute planned initiatives.
• Organize and follow up on medical education programs.
• Meet or surpass territory sales objectives.
• Manage accounts effectively, ensuring product accessibility.
• Address or triage reimbursement concerns and uphold product contracts.
• Design impactful marketing strategies to enhance sales.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of sales activities and territory performance.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to formulate territory plans.
• Promote the Amgen brand throughout the sales process while prioritizing patient care.
• Collaborate with colleagues to exchange best practices and foster continuous learning.
• Utilize oncology expertise and stay informed about disease states, industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to achieve results.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of sales and/or clinical experience in a healthcare or scientific field.
• OR an associate degree with 6 years of sales and/or clinical experience in a healthcare or scientific field.
• OR a high school diploma/GED with 8 years of sales and/or clinical experience in a healthcare or scientific field.
• Experience in Oncology is preferred.
• A minimum of three years of sales and/or marketing experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device sectors is preferred.
• Experience in product or hospital sales in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology and inflammation, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases is preferred.
• Familiarity with the local market is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration is preferred.
• Ability to adapt with skills in planning and organization, utilizing business/industry/technical knowledge, impactful communication, driving results, and nurturing internal/external relationships.
• The territory includes Fort Worth, Grapevine, Wichita Falls, Irving, Abilene, Arlington, Bedford, Denison, Denton, Flower Mound, San Angelo, Midland, Odessa, Weatherford, and Waxahachie.
