This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
• Implement sales strategies by marketing existing and prospective oncology therapeutics.
• Exhibit thorough knowledge of product clinical effectiveness and offer clinical support and information as required.
• Meet sales targets and maintain documented sales performance.
• Perform business analysis and seek new opportunities within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to formulate account strategies aimed at boosting sales, identifying key accounts and healthcare professionals, and devising penetration plans.
• Create customer-specific pre- and post-call plans that include objectives, probing questions, and supporting materials.
• Foster customer loyalty and develop new relationships.
• Persuade decision-makers with targeted sales messages grounded in accurate clinical data.
• Utilize approved sales and marketing resources and implement local marketing initiatives.
• Work together with Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine team members and counterparts to improve business outcomes.
• Gain insight into healthcare delivery systems, physician hierarchies, pharmacy staff, and clinical nursing personnel within assigned accounts.
• Stay informed about reimbursement, managed care organizations, specialty pharmacies, patient demographics, and treatment methods.
• Attend mandatory sales meetings and fulfill required training obligations.
• Complete healthcare compliance, expense reports, call logs, and other administrative duties.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Experience in oncology specialty sales and/or major hospital account sales is preferred.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed, including overnight and weekend trips.
• At least two years of direct selling experience in pharmaceuticals or biologics/biotech with proven sales success and target achievement, or relevant clinical experience.
• Experience in sales to hospitals and large accounts is desirable.
• Understanding of complex reimbursement and managed care processes is essential.
• Proven track record of successful sales performance in a competitive landscape.
• Strong skills in relationship building and the ability to identify key decision-makers.
• High motivation to achieve and exceed goals.
• Must reside in the geographic area or be willing to relocate.
• Ability to effectively use virtual technology and engage customers in virtual face-to-face meetings.
• Preferred: experience in hematology and/or rare disease specialty sales and familiarity with the oncology market.
• Preferred: previous experience in product launches within a competitive environment.
• Preferred: experience with Multiple Myeloma.
• Commitment to learning about emerging technologies such as AI is required.
