This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Implement sales strategies by promoting both current and prospective oncology therapeutics.
• Exhibit in-depth knowledge of product clinical efficacy and offer necessary clinical support and information.
• Meet sales quotas and documented sales objectives.
• Perform business analysis and actively seek new business opportunities within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to formulate account strategies that boost sales, identify key accounts and healthcare professionals, and devise penetration plans.
• Create customer-specific pre- and post-call plans featuring objectives, questions, and supporting materials.
• Foster customer loyalty and build new relationships.
• Persuade decision-makers using targeted sales messages grounded in precise clinical information and sanctioned sales and marketing materials.
• Implement local marketing strategies effectively.
• Partner with Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine team members and counterparts to exchange ideas and information.
• Gain insight into healthcare delivery systems, physician hierarchies, pharmacy personnel, clinical nursing staff, reimbursement, managed care organizations, specialty pharmacies, and treatment methods.
• Attend mandatory sales meetings and training sessions.
• Complete healthcare compliance tasks, expense reporting, call reporting, and other administrative duties.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Experience in oncology specialty sales and/or major hospital account sales is preferred.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed, including overnight and weekend trips.
• At least two (2) years of direct selling experience in pharmaceuticals or biologics/biotech with a proven record of achieving sales targets, or relevant clinical experience.
• Background in hospital and large account sales is desirable.
• Knowledge of complex reimbursement and managed care dynamics with a track record of success in competitive sales environments.
• Strong relationship-building capabilities and the ability to identify key decision-makers.
• High achievement motivation to meet and exceed objectives.
• Must reside in the geographic area or be willing to relocate.
• Proficient in utilizing virtual technology and engaging customers in virtual face-to-face interactions.
• Preferred: Experience in hematology and/or rare disease specialty sales and familiarity with the Oncology market.
• Preferred: Prior product launch experience in a highly competitive setting.
• Preferred: Experience with Multiple Myeloma.
• Demonstrated commitment to exploring emerging technologies, including AI.
