• Lead the strategic implementation across a diverse territory or multi-state area, ensuring ongoing commercial success.
• Enhance relationships with healthcare providers and cultivate connections with key stakeholders to promote awareness of Exelixis oncology therapies and their appropriate application.
• Utilize advanced analytics and market intelligence to optimize territory strategy and influence internal planning processes.
• Collaborate across functions to provide coordinated solutions that tackle clinical, operational, and access-related challenges.
• Advocate for field perspectives during brand planning sessions and contribute to innovative tactics.
• Recognize emerging trends, competitive challenges, and unmet needs within the designated territory.
• Exemplify compliance, professionalism, and ethical engagement in all activities.
• Spearhead strategic pull-through initiatives in partnership with access and reimbursement teams.
• Act as a field-based representative for new product introductions, pilot programs, and strategic initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders, integrated delivery networks, and institutional decision-makers.
• Assist regional leadership with business planning, training, and performance evaluation.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, sharing best practices and fostering skill development.
• BS/BA degree in a relevant field with 9 years of applicable experience; or a Master’s degree in a related discipline with 7 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in oncology sales.
• Experience in product launches is essential.
• Strong business planning skills are required.
