This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take on senior responsibility for the asset management of PV and ESS portfolios throughout Europe, ensuring adherence to LTSAs, SLAs, KPIs, budgets, and performance objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of Asset Managers by establishing goals, evaluating performance, and enhancing capabilities.
• Serve as the primary escalation point and main customer liaison for intricate technical, contractual, warranty, and corrective service matters.
• Conduct and oversee comprehensive contract analysis, identifying risks, responsibilities, and opportunities for value optimization, while actively assisting in LTSA negotiations.
• Provide senior-level technical oversight by reviewing and validating Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), interpreting SCADA data, and evaluating equipment logs.
• Direct service partner performance management in collaboration with procurement and O&M teams, concentrating on cost control, service quality, and adherence to contracts.
• Promote a data-driven approach to asset management, encompassing availability and performance analysis, spare parts strategy, and lifecycle cost optimization.
• Ensure effective cross-functional coordination with Projects, Sales, Engineering, and HQ to facilitate asset handover and continuous improvement efforts.
• Directly contribute to the profitability and long-term value of the O&M business through cost optimization, risk management, and performance-focused decision-making.
• Advocate for continuous improvement in processes, reporting, asset performance, reliability, and team collaboration across the European asset management function.
• A degree in engineering, business, contracting, or a related technical discipline is essential.
• A strong technical foundation in PV and Energy Storage (BESS) technologies is required.
• Considerable experience in O&M asset management, particularly with complex asset portfolios and long-term service agreements, is necessary.
• Advanced skills in contract analysis, including warranties, SLAs, penalties, liabilities, and risk allocation, are crucial.
• Proven capability to review and validate RCAs, as well as analyze SCADA data and equipment logs at a senior decision-making level, is expected.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams, with the ability to establish priorities, mentor performance, and foster accountability is required.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills with customers, internal teams, and service partners are essential.
• A highly analytical, structured, and commercially minded approach, with a strong emphasis on profitability and value creation, is important.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, while proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) is required, with advanced data analysis skills being a plus.
• Ability to operate effectively within a multicultural, matrix organization, with regular interactions with HQ and senior leadership is necessary.
