This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Plan and execute offensive security engagements of varying sizes, scopes, focuses, and methodologies.
• Articulate findings, attack vectors, recommendations, and strategies to both technical and executive stakeholders through written reports and verbal presentations.
• Develop scripts, tools, or methodologies to enhance offensive security services.
• Act as a subject matter expert in areas such as initial access, open-source intelligence analysis, adversary tradecraft, offensive operations across Windows, Linux, and macOS, evasion operations, or technical capability development.
• Employ common offensive security testing tools and methodologies.
• Keep abreast of the latest adversary tradecraft and vulnerabilities.
• Share successes and challenges with team members and leadership.
• Interact with clients and staff in a professional manner.
• Organize and prepare for both internal and client-facing meetings.
• Aid in scoping potential engagements and partake in technical testing from initiation through remediation.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff members.
• Educate team members on adversary Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and associated tools.
• Contribute to and enhance SpecterOps training course materials and support course delivery.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, averaging up to 25% annually.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

• Strong understanding of offensive security concepts and assessments.
• In-depth knowledge of security principles, policies, and industry best practices.
• Proficient in Windows and *NIX-based operating systems.
• Solid knowledge of networking concepts.
• Proficient understanding of Active Directory.
• Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as C#/.NET, C++, Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Ability to produce technical documentation, including assessment reports, presentations, and operational procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, along with strong interpersonal skills.
• Expert proficiency in one or more service lines and/or technical domains.
• Experience leading small teams and engagements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in client communication and delivering presentations.
• Capability to independently manage client projects.
• Proficiency in leading and executing the majority of offensive security service offerings.
• Willingness to develop and deliver training content as a primary course instructor.
• Eagerness to mentor and train fellow consultants.
• A bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred but not required.
• Experience with security assessments for Fortune 1000 companies and/or large Federal Government entities is a plus.
• Contributions to the public community, such as conference presentations, blog posts, white papers, or public tool development, are advantageous.
• Experience in administering, attacking, or defending Windows/Active Directory, Linux, and/or macOS environments is a benefit.
• Background in technical writing is a plus.
• Experience working for a service-oriented information security consultancy is beneficial.
• Experience in developing and/or delivering technical training is advantageous.
• A desire to teach and train students in offensive techniques is a plus.
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally more frequently is a benefit.
