Senior Node.js Developer – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and develop reusable, clean, efficient, secure, maintainable, and well-documented solutions.

• Support partners during their integration process with our published APIs.

• Thoroughly document findings, actions, and plans by establishing a robust reporting framework and communication standard.

• Assess the technical feasibility of implementing product requirements and provide valuable feedback to the product team.

• Convert product requirements into Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) and a technical plan.

• Actively identify technical debt and suggest mitigation strategies.

• Enhance and expand your software development knowledge while mentoring and supporting other team members, offering guidance to facilitate their career advancement.

• Perform code reviews for colleagues to improve code quality and ensure compliance with high standards.

• Comprehend the business aspects of the project and possess the capability to lead comprehensive technical and product discussions.

• Introduce new tools and initiatives that can enhance startup productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Software Engineering or related fields.

• More than 3 years of experience working entirely remotely, demonstrating self-management and accountability.

• Practical experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Node.js/Nest.js.

• Deep understanding of web application architecture and the design principles for scalable applications.

• Strong grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Experience in designing and optimizing databases, with expertise in query optimization, scaling, and data modeling.

• Advanced proficiency in Docker and AWS.

• Proficient in English (C1).
