This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the discovery, architecture, design, implementation, migration, validation, and operational transition for intricate security projects.
• Create High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), implementation plans, test plans, rollback plans, diagrams, and knowledge-transfer documentation.
• Manage production cutovers, resolve complex network and security challenges, and proactively identify delivery risks.
• Assist in scoping, estimation, Statement of Work (SOW) validation, technical workshops, and the transition from sales to delivery.
• Provide mentorship to engineers and contribute to the development of reusable playbooks, standards, reference architectures, and documented lessons learned.
• Collaborate with Practice Leadership, Delivery Operations, Project Management Office (PMO), Sales, and Technical Project Leads to ensure effective client delivery.
• Complete ongoing security awareness training and adhere to company policies.
• Identify and escalate security risks to the relevant Executive Leadership Team member while aiding in remediation efforts.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise network security engineering, consulting, or Professional Services.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks, including the design, deployment, migration, and troubleshooting of production environments.
• Proficient in PA-Series and/or VM-Series, Panorama, security policies, NAT, routing, VPN, high availability, logging, and threat-prevention features.
• Experience with Prisma Access, Strata Cloud Manager, GlobalProtect, Palo Alto SD-WAN, SSL/TLS decryption, App-ID, User-ID, Device-ID, AIOps, and policy optimization.
• Proven track record in leading firewall refreshes, migrations, consolidations, segmentation, Zero Trust, or SASE initiatives.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, hybrid cloud environments, SIEM integration, identity services, NAC, certificate services, and authentication dependencies.
• Experience using migration tools such as Expedition and managing multi-vendor security environments.
• Excellent skills in client-facing communication, facilitating technical workshops, documentation, troubleshooting, and mentoring.
• Current PCNSA, PCNSE, or active progress towards a professional-level certification from Palo Alto Networks is preferred.
• Must reside in the United States.
