Senior Network Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and implement protective security measures for cloud, production, and corporate settings.

• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and upkeep of network security tools.

• Develop systems that enhance automation, visibility, and threat detection efforts across various information security and infrastructure teams.

• Lead network security projects independently and promote a security-centric culture throughout the organization.

• Collaborate closely with Network, Infrastructure, and other partner teams to assess designs and use cases, ensuring our networks are secure by design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in routing, switching, and principles of network design.

• Experience in conducting network architecture or design assessments with a focus on security.

• Understanding of contemporary adversary tactics and corresponding mitigating controls.

• Skilled in programming with one or more general-purpose languages (such as Python, Go, Rust, etc.).

• Familiarity with one or more infrastructure as code languages (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK) in a production environment.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing network-based defensive measures in corporate and industrial production settings.

• Capable of working independently and taking responsibility for complex projects.

• Experience in participating in or supporting incident response activities.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
