Senior Network Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Consider reliability as a fundamental engineered characteristic.

• Establish Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and error budgets for the network platform.

• Facilitate postmortems with an emphasis on long-lasting solutions.

• Transition network state management into code.

• Design, implement, and oversee network infrastructure utilizing Terraform or Ansible.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, and SD-WAN architecture.

• Demonstrated experience with Terraform (state management, modules) and Ansible (playbooks, roles) – or equivalent – in a production setting.

• Proficient in Python for automation and API interactions, or similar technologies.

• Practical experience with Cloudflare, zScaler, and/or enterprise firewalls.

• Background in configuring monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana) to generate insightful alerts and dashboards.
