Senior Network Load Balancing Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and enhance enterprise load balancing and application delivery systems.

• Guarantee the availability, performance, and resilience of essential business applications.

• Act as the senior technical escalation point for intricate Layer 4–7 traffic management and application delivery challenges.

• Conduct root-cause analysis and restore services in high-availability production settings.

• Propel continuous improvement across F5, Citrix ADC, and VMware AVI platforms via automation, optimization, application onboarding, and operational excellence initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of relevant experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.

• 8–10+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong emphasis on load balancing and application delivery.

• Demonstrated experience operating in large-scale, enterprise environments.

• Expert-level hands-on experience with the F5 BIG-IP platform.

• Expert-level hands-on experience with Citrix NetScaler / ADC.

• Expert-level hands-on experience with VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer (AVI).

• Strong expertise in Layer 4–7 protocols (HTTP/S, TCP, UDP, SSL/TLS, DNS).

• Proficient in load balancing techniques, persistence, and traffic steering.

• Skilled in SSL offloading and certificate management.

• Capable of troubleshooting complex, multi-tier application issues.

• F5 certifications (CTS or higher) are required.

• Citrix ADC certifications (CCA-N / CCP-N or higher) are required.

• VMware NSX / AVI-related certifications are required.

• 2 years of leadership or management experience is preferred.
