Senior Network Infrastructure Technician – Cruise Ship Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Assist with enterprise networking, server infrastructure, virtualization, and data center operations aboard cruise ships.

• Provide Level 3 support for intricate network, server, virtualization, and infrastructure challenges.

• Facilitate VMware-to-Hyper-V migration projects using Veeam technologies.

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routing, switching, wireless, and firewall systems.

• Manage Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

• Support both Hyper-V and VMware virtualization platforms.

• Diagnose network performance, connectivity, server, and infrastructure problems.

• Assist with onboard data center operations, including rack-and-stack tasks, cabling, hardware upgrades, and replacing equipment.

• Carry out maintenance and infrastructure upgrades with minimal disruption to operations.

• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations.

• Collaborate with remote engineering teams and client stakeholders.

• Act as the primary onsite technical representative for Connection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• A valid Passport is required.

• Capability to live and work onboard active cruise ships.

• Willingness to stay onboard for assignments that could last up to 4–5 months.

• Ability to travel internationally and fulfill all cruise line onboarding criteria.

• Strong expertise in Cisco networking.

• Experience with virtualization technologies.

• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
