Senior Network Infrastructure Technician – Cruise Ship Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Deliver Level 3 support for intricate network, server, virtualization, and infrastructure challenges.

• Assist in VMware-to-Hyper-V migration projects using Veeam technologies.

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routing, switching, wireless, and firewall systems.

• Manage Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

• Provide support for Hyper-V and VMware virtualization platforms.

• Diagnose network performance, connectivity, server, and infrastructure problems.

• Aid in the onboarding of data center operations, which includes rack-and-stack activities, cabling, hardware upgrades, and equipment replacement.

• Carry out maintenance tasks and infrastructure upgrades with minimal disruption to operations.

• Keep technical documentation, procedures, and system configurations up to date.

• Collaborate with remote engineering teams and client stakeholders.

• Act as the primary onsite technical representative for Connection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in supporting enterprise network and infrastructure settings.

• Demonstrated experience in providing Level 3 network and systems support.

• Strong practical knowledge of Cisco networking technologies (routing, switching, wireless, firewalls).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server.

• Experience with Hyper-V virtualization.

• Familiarity with VMware vSphere environments.

• Knowledge of Active Directory and enterprise infrastructure services.

• Advanced skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving within network and data center environments.

• Capability to work autonomously with minimal onsite oversight.

• Experience in supporting production environments with high availability demands.
