Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Supervise operations across global data centers.

• Oversee monitoring and maintenance of data centers, networks, and servers on a worldwide scale.

• Engage directly with data center Network Operations Centers through phone, email, and web portals.

• Execute deployment and repairs of servers, storage systems, routers, switches, and various hardware.

• Install hardware, cabling, firmware, and software both on-site and remotely.

• Lead hardware decommissioning projects, encompassing hardware disposal and data destruction.

• Manage the shipping and receiving of networking equipment to ensure network availability and reliability.

• Conduct project work for data center migrations and hardware platform upgrades.

• Coordinate data center deployments, from hardware requests to rack design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Experience in a NOC environment with practical hardware experience.

• Familiarity with computer hardware and networking equipment.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities in a large-scale data center setting.

• Knowledge of Linux system administration, server management, and internals.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
