Senior Network Engineer – Secret Clearance Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WLAN/WAN infrastructure.

• Provide support for Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, IDS, and enterprise network services.

• Diagnose and resolve routing, switching, and network connectivity challenges across all OSI layers.

• Monitor network performance and availability using enterprise network management tools.

• Execute network security hardening, firewall administration, and VPN setup.

• Assist with configuration management, network optimization, documentation, and adherence to technical standards.

• Create technical recommendations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and network documentation.

• Work collaboratively with Government personnel and technical teams to address complex network issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in enterprise Network Engineering.

• Proven experience in supporting large Cisco enterprise environments.

• In-depth knowledge of LAN/WLAN/WAN infrastructure, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.

• Experience in supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or other Federal environments is preferred.

• Proficiency in Cisco Networking, Cisco Routers & Switches, LAN/WLAN/WAN, Routing & Switching, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Windows Server, Active Directory, UNIX/Linux, Orion SolarWinds, ARMIS, Ansible, Network Security, Configuration Management, Performance Monitoring, Network Documentation, and Technical Troubleshooting.
