Senior Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Set up and implement AWS network components, such as VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups, in accordance with the architecture established by the Solution Architect.

• Assist in the staged migration of services to the new network framework, ensuring connectivity, stability, and minimal disruption.

• Evaluate, refactor, and enhance existing network configurations to simplify processes and strengthen security measures.

• Confirm network alterations via connectivity testing, traffic validation, and troubleshooting across various services and environments.

• Collaborate with DevOps Engineers to synchronize network configurations with infrastructure automation and deployment methodologies.

• Keep precise network documentation and diagrams to facilitate migration, troubleshooting, and handover processes.

• Offer actionable feedback to the Solution Architect and project team when implementation insights necessitate design adjustments or clarifications.

• Work in partnership with internal teams and external parties to address network-related dependencies and challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Network Engineering or a comparable networking-focused infrastructure position.

• Extensive experience with AWS networking components; AWS Certified Advanced Networking is advantageous.

• Practical experience in configuring and troubleshooting distributed cloud network environments.

• Solid understanding of network security principles and access control mechanisms.

• Experience in facilitating service migrations between different environments.

• Fundamental knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, and its application in network provisioning.

• Acquaintance with CI/CD environments such as Jenkins or Concourse.

• Strong communication skills in English.
