Senior Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network services encompassing LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, and secure remote access.

• Provide senior-level hands-on engineering expertise in Fortinet, Palo Alto, Silver Peak, Cisco branch and data center networking, alongside zero trust controls.

• Convert platform standards and architectural guidelines into comprehensive designs, build configurations, and implementation strategies.

• Deliver engineering results across branch, campus, edge, cloud, and Azure networking, including integration with VMware-hosted workloads.

• Manage essential engineering activities such as network lifecycle management, capacity and resilience planning, service optimization, and remediation.

• Lead intricate changes, migrations, and deployments, including SD-WAN transformations, branch refresh programs, firewall and segmentation modifications, and cloud connectivity enablement.

• Provide Level 4 escalation support for significant incidents and complex technical challenges.

• Promote continuous enhancement in network and security services through standardization, reliability enhancements, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

• Collaborate closely with security teams, operations teams, and managed service providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in enterprise networking, SD-WAN, and network security engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience in delivering complex network solutions within large enterprise environments.

• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve high-severity technical issues.

• Experience collaborating within globally distributed teams.

• Willingness and capability to travel as necessary for project delivery, site engagement, implementation support, and major change activities across regional and global locations.

• Preferred certifications: Cisco CCNA / CCNP / CCIE.

• Fortinet NSE (or equivalent).

• ITIL Foundation certification.

• Desirable: Advanced networking or security certifications.

• Experience in automation and scripting.

• Familiarity with ISO27000 or similar security frameworks.
