This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the design and evaluation of enterprise architecture spanning infrastructure, platform engineering, security, and integration projects.
• Develop, enhance, and manage architecture review procedures, which include intake workflows, domain impact assessments, design consultations, and automated governance systems.
• Establish and promote the use of reusable infrastructure-as-code templates and standards, such as Terraform modules, networking guidelines, and multi-account frameworks.
• Architect and manage on-premises and multi-region cloud networking solutions.
• Spearhead cloud migration and data center exit initiatives, creating cutover strategies, managing infrastructure delivery, and collaborating with compliance and security teams.
• Create and implement training programs for engineering teams moving to cloud-native, infrastructure-as-code-based operational models.
• Simplify complex infrastructure and architecture choices into clear, business-focused recommendations for both executive and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated expertise in leveraging AI technologies to improve decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and achieve business results.
• Over 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture, cloud platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering, with a trajectory towards architecture and governance leadership roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, including Transit Gateway, VPCs, multi-account strategies, IAM, and Network Firewall.
• Proficient in Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD.
• Background in establishing or managing enterprise-scale architecture review boards, governance frameworks, or infrastructure standards initiatives.
• Strong foundation in cloud networking design, covering multi-region connectivity, network segmentation, inspection architectures, and hybrid/on-premises integration.
• Experience leading or participating in data center exit or cloud migration initiatives, focusing on infrastructure-as-code delivery and compliance-compliant design.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI, SOC 2, or equivalent.
• Practical knowledge of GitOps tools like ArgoCD, Helm, or Octopus Deploy.
• Active or expired Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) or AWS certifications are considered additional assets.
• Experience in designing or overseeing the adoption of AI/LLM platforms at an enterprise scale.
• Background in managed service provider (MSP) or multi-tenant IT environments.
