Principal Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, architect, deploy, and manage cloud solutions.

• Ensure system integrity and security.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation.

• Support and enhance automation processes.

• Perform development tasks using Bash, PowerShell, and Python.

• Continuously improve knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI cloud services.

• Monitor and optimize cloud systems for maximum performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external customers to devise strategies and design solutions.

• Provide guidance to implementation teams during infrastructure setups.

• Address escalations and conduct assessments, recommendations, or solutions to resolve issues.

• Author and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and knowledge articles.

• Assist in building and sustaining a multi-tenant cloud platform/enterprise.

• Support the migration, expansion, and automation of the enterprise.

• Achieve program milestones in engineering, migration, and operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering and operations.

• Proficient in cloud computing, including AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.

• Relevant technical training, certifications, or degree.

• Proficiency in Linux.

• Experience with Windows Server.

• Strong communication skills.

• Proven ability to deliver presentations to diverse audiences across various organizational levels.

• Must possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret or higher security clearance.

• US citizenship is required.

• Ability to work 40 scheduled hours per week.

• Travel requirement is less than 10%.
