This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Design, develop, and test backend applications and services utilizing C#/.NET and SQL/relational database techniques.
• Architect, deploy, and sustain cloud infrastructure and services on Microsoft Azure.
• Construct and support identity and access management solutions leveraging Microsoft Entra ID and the Microsoft Graph .NET SDK.
• Create serverless solutions using Azure Functions.
• Develop and orchestrate data-driven workflows with Azure Data Factory for scalable data movement and transformation.
• Implement asynchronous, decoupled messaging patterns through Azure Queue Storage or RabbitMQ.
• Manage storage and retrieval of unstructured data using Azure Blob Storage and the Azure.Storage.Blobs SDK.
• Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements, offer technical recommendations, and update on progress and trade-offs.
• Work in partnership with engineers on software architecture, APIs, and integrations.
• Write unit tests and adhere to test-driven development practices.
• Enhance application performance, scalability, and security.
• Diagnose and resolve software issues across the stack, including in live client environments.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Direct experience in client-facing roles is essential.
• Proficient programming skills in .NET.
• Strong SQL and relational database design capabilities.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions and Azure Data Factory.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and the Microsoft Graph .NET SDK.
• Knowledge of Azure Queue Storage, RabbitMQ, or comparable messaging systems.
• Experience in managing unstructured data with Azure Blob Storage.
• Proficient with Git and other version control systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Strong client management and communication skills, including the ability to present technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of contemporary DevOps principles.
• Candidates must reside in the USA and be able to work in the Eastern or Central Standard Time Zone.
• Candidates must be authorized to work without EAD, OPT, or H1B sponsorship; candidates located outside the United States cannot be considered.
• Nice-to-have: experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Nice-to-have: experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Nice-to-have: familiarity with Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
