Senior .NET Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain production software.

• Create backend services and APIs utilizing C# and ASP.NET/.NET.

• Construct and sustain web applications using Angular.

• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL Server databases and queries.

• Maintain and enhance mobile applications leveraging .NET MAUI.

• Investigate and resolve issues in production environments.

• Enhance application reliability, performance, security, and observability.

• Write automated tests and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

• Engage in code reviews and establish engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with product, operations, and event-production teams.

• Decompose ambiguous business challenges into well-defined technical plans.

• Responsibly utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance speed while maintaining quality.

• Take ownership of significant components of the application and deliver dependable software independently.

• Improve system performance, lessen technical debt, and transform operational challenges into sustainable products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software development.

• Extensive commercial experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.

• Strong proficiency in Angular and TypeScript.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, database design, and query optimization.

• Production experience with .NET MAUI or Xamarin.

• Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, debugging, and automated testing.

• Proven ability to work independently within an existing codebase.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfortable taking ownership of outcomes rather than merely completing assigned tasks.

• Experience with SaaS platforms.

• Familiarity with event management, registration, payments, LMS, or communication systems.

• Cloud experience with Azure or AWS.

• Experience with distributed systems, queues, integrations, or real-time applications.

• Background in modernizing legacy applications.

• Experience mentoring other developers.
