Senior .NET Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, test, and sustain features across the .NET-based platform, encompassing APIs to user-facing interfaces.

• Write clean, well-tested C# code and engage in thoughtful peer code evaluations.

• Create efficient SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and data models to support feature development.

• Collaborate with internal services and external third-party integrations during feature implementation.

• Identify and resolve defects in both development and production environments.

• Collaborate with senior engineers on design and architectural decisions; provide insights and constructive feedback when necessary.

• Contribute to documentation, automated testing, and the continuous enhancement of the engineering process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience utilizing the Microsoft technology stack.

• Expertise in C# and the .NET framework / .NET Core.

• Strong experience with ASP.NET for creating web applications and services.

• Familiarity with SQL Server, including the ability to write efficient queries and stored procedures.

• Proven capability to work independently as a self-starter and complete tasks efficiently.

• Experience in Agile team environments.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building or maintaining distributed, high-throughput systems where reliability and performance are crucial.

• Proven experience with performance profiling, optimization, and tuning at the application, query, or system level.

• Experience working with both internal and external services and integrations.

• Familiarity with Redis for caching and distributed data.

• Exposure to RabbitMQ (RMQ), Azure Service Bus (ASB), or similar messaging platforms.

• Experience in developing and deploying workloads on Microsoft Azure.

• Experience contributing to large enterprise applications.
