Senior .NET Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Create solutions that enhance value and efficiency throughout systems while reducing technical debt.

• Skillfully utilize AI agents and GitHub Copilot to develop .NET solutions based on high-level specifications.

• Work closely with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to achieve product goals and refine specifications.

• Uphold a "Test First" approach by ensuring AI-generated code aligns with the product's functional, security, and performance standards.

• Keep abreast of technology trends and product roadmaps to inform development processes.

• Contribute to cross-functional business operations.

• Advocate for best practices, inter-team collaboration, and process consistency.

• Guide and mentor junior engineers in their professional development.

• Cultivate a collaborative culture founded on trust and mutual respect.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and AI-native coding within VS Code.

• Proficient in GitHub Copilot Agent Mode and AI-assisted debugging.

• Experience with .NET 6+ using C#.

• Knowledge of SQL.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Skills in Unit Testing.

• Understanding of RESTful web services.

• Experience with messaging and queuing systems.

• Proficiency in a front-end framework such as React.

• A Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in a computer-related field or a related business discipline, along with six (6) or more years of experience in Information Technology and solution delivery, or an equivalent mix of education and experience in similar domains is required.
