Senior .NET Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create cloud-native applications utilizing .NET 10, Angular 20+, and Azure Services, emphasizing Web API and Entity Framework Core.

• Collaborate across functions in an Agile setting.

• Assist in the upkeep and improvement of current systems.

• Design, develop, and sustain applications and systems for clients.

• Upgrade legacy applications and guide migration strategies.

• Architect cloud-native solutions.

• Manage multiple tasks independently and collaboratively with flexibility.

• Collaborate directly with the Project Manager to address emerging client requirements.

• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and accessibility standards.

• Manage Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) while adhering to relevant safeguarding and compliance requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Public Trust Eligibility is required.

• A minimum of 7 years of proven experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET development.

• Bachelor’s Degree (5 additional years of experience may substitute for a degree).

• Microsoft Certified Professional and/or Azure Certification preferred.

• Experience in refactoring and migrating .NET Framework applications to .NET Core, including ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core.

• Over 5 years of experience in building and maintaining RESTful services and WCF.

• At least 4 years of experience with JavaScript and Angular v16 or newer.

• Strong experience with Entity Framework and Entity Framework Core.

• Familiarity with Azure Cloud is essential.

• Proficient in using Visual Studio Ultimate 2017/2019/+, Azure DevOps, and Git.

• Experience with containerization on Windows servers using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Solid understanding of Scrum Agile development methodology.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Candidates must be U.S. citizens or authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination.
