This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Achieve growth targets established by the Company while focusing on budgets, profitability, promotional spending rates, and profit objectives.
• Serve as both an internal and external leader for Galderma concerning assigned customers and the Food COT during the annual budgeting, MBP process, or external JBP sessions.
• Provide guidance on the Commercial Action Plan related to the 4P’s (price, promotion, placement, product) for the Food COT and other 3P brokerage partners.
• Offer leadership, coaching, and mentoring to third-party sales agents representing Galderma and its brands.
• Collaborate on the creation of effective sales plans tailored by customer to meet annual targets that support US and Global objectives, communicated through quarterly business reviews.
• Efficiently manage P&L, including customer trade spend rates, monthly brokerage fees, sales agency revenue forecasting, and personal T&E.
• Conduct external training sessions for all agency partners and related customers concerning new business platforms, product launches, or other necessary areas.
• Prepare presentations and participate in account calls to deliver a compelling, fact-based strategic selling narrative utilizing syndicated data, market trends, account databases, and local market knowledge alongside corporate-developed templates.
• Leverage industry knowledge, network, and contacts to identify key decision-makers within targeted retailers and prospective accounts to expand the presence of Galderma brands.
• Develop cross-functional relationships both internally and externally to seize business opportunities.
• Collaborate with 3P Broker to achieve profitable sales for both the customer and Galderma.
• Create and manage promotional plans, coordinating with finance and trade marketing to ensure alignment with brand strategies and advertising plans as appropriate.
• Partner with demand planning on sales forecasting, focusing on financial production planning forecasts.
• Responsible for comprehending and communicating the customer-level budget and expenditure.
• Oversee deductions and/or invoices received from customers for accounting purposes.
• Exhibit industry, channel, and competitor knowledge while connecting with customers to provide fact-based insights about our products and the category.
• Actively seek and secure new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Director to pinpoint process improvements and new initiatives, assisting in their implementation.
• A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college/university is required.
• 5-8 years of CPG selling experience with a proven record of surpassing sales targets.
• At least three (3) years of managing or selling experience with Kroger in the health, beauty, or wellness sectors.
• Preferred: Three (3) or more years of mid-level sales managerial experience.
• Must be a self-motivated, team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
• Skilled in creative thinking and problem-solving.
• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset that promotes swift situational assessment and decision-making.
• Experience in developing and executing business plans that exceed expected results.
• Capable of analyzing challenging business situations, creating business proposals, and presenting them to senior management.
• Proficient in analyzing data and monitoring retail trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Experienced in P&L management with a solid understanding of key line items.
• Proven ability to influence key decision-makers.
