Senior Multi-Cloud DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Design, migrate, and manage cloud-native platforms across AWS, GCP, and OCI.

• Evaluate existing AWS architectures and convert them into functionally equivalent or optimized designs on GCP and OCI.

• Align AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, ALB/NLB, Lambda, etc.) with their GCP and OCI equivalents, documenting patterns and trade-offs.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across various cloud providers.

• Enhance and support CI/CD pipelines for multi-cloud deployments.

• Collaborate with Platform Engineering teams to create standardized landing zones, networking, IAM, and security guardrails.

• Implement SRE best practices to enhance availability, performance, and reliability (SLIs/SLOs, monitoring, alerting).

• Support Kubernetes platforms (EKS, GKE, OKE) and cloud-native workloads.

• Collaborate with application teams to modernize workloads utilizing containers and managed services.

• Assist with strategies for cloud cost optimization, resiliency, and disaster recovery.

• Serve as a technical advisor on multi-cloud architecture and operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.

• Strong practical experience with AWS (VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, Load Balancers).

• Practical experience with GCP (GKE, Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Cloud Storage).

• Exposure to or hands-on experience with OCI (OKE, Compute, VCN, Object Storage, Load Balancer).

• Demonstrated ability to align AWS services with GCP and OCI equivalents.

• Solid understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals and cloud-native architecture.

• Proficient in Terraform (multi-provider deployments preferred).

• Familiarity with DevOps and SRE methodologies.

• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher.

• Nice to Have: Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Architect, OCI Architect).

• Experience working in multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.

• Knowledge of GitOps tools (ArgoCD).

• Experience with messaging systems, API gateways, or event-driven architectures.

• Exposure to regulated or compliance-driven environments.
