Senior MS Dynamics BC Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Lead comprehensive Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central functional implementations from start to finish.

• Collect, assess, and document business and operational needs.

• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and meetings to align with stakeholders.

• Configure and enhance Business Central modules according to client specifications.

• Provide support for finance, purchasing, sales, inventory, warehousing, and operational processes.

• Conduct gap-fit analysis and suggest scalable ERP solutions.

• Work collaboratively with technical consultants and developers on integrations and customizations.

• Assist with data migration, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and activities following go-live.

• Develop functional documentation, process flows, and solution specifications.

• Offer recommendations for ERP best practices and guidance on process improvements.

• Aid integration efforts across the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Help with troubleshooting, optimization, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV.

• Strong understanding of ERP processes, including Finance & Accounting, Purchasing & Sales, Inventory & Warehouse Management, and Supply Chain Operations.

• Proven experience in conducting workshops and managing client stakeholders.

• Background in supporting full ERP implementation lifecycle projects.

• Capability to convert business requirements into functional solutions.

• Experience in consultancy or partner environments is a plus.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform is considered advantageous.

• Knowledge of Business Central integrations and customization methodologies.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficient in English communication.
