• Creating animated short-form videos with a strong emphasis on performance across various social media platforms (Meta, YouTube Shorts, TikTok)
• Editing user-generated content and motion graphics in trend-focused formats suited for short-form channels
• Collaborating with brand, creative, and paid teams to maintain visual consistency across brand and marketing initiatives
• Analyzing competitors’ advertisements and social trends to stay ahead of global creative movements
• Possessing a solid understanding of creative performance metrics and employing a data-informed approach to refinement
• Utilizing a modular editing methodology: approaching creative iteration as building blocks — evaluating, combining, and remixing successful components to achieve results
• Employing AI tools to expedite and enhance production (image, video, special effects)
• Suggesting, testing, and refining new content formats grounded in performance insights
• Mentoring and elevating the skills of junior motion designers
• Over 5 years of experience as a motion designer (in agency, in-house, or startup environments), with a strong focus on marketing design.
• A robust portfolio that demonstrates outstanding brand and marketing design work, showcasing clear strategic and creative thinking across diverse channels and mediums.
• Ability to transform scripts, footage, or design boards into clear and engaging videos
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
• A distinct perspective on branding and visual storytelling
• Exceptional proficiency in Adobe After Effects, including plugins (animation, editing, kinetic typography, infographics)
• Familiarity with Premiere and CapCut
• Basic skills in Figma.
• A solid foundation in composition, typography, and visual aesthetics
• Strong understanding of paid media algorithms and platform-specific formats
• Experience with hook-driven storytelling frameworks
• Keen visual awareness and current trend sensitivity
• Practical experience with tools such as Higgsfield, LTX, Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs, Kling, and other similar AI platforms
• Strong storyboarding and storytelling abilities (preparing boards for animation)
• Basic sound design competencies
• Ability to strategically use sound effects to enhance engagement and retention
