This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Aids in the management of activities within the real estate loan department.
β’ Evaluates file documentation to ensure completeness and consistency.
β’ Compiles, organizes, and preserves documentation in the correct processing sequence.
β’ Conducts initial screenings of loan applications to assess qualifications.
β’ Effectively oversees and tracks a pipeline of assigned loans.
β’ Maintains a weekly status report on all relevant files.
β’ Prepares all necessary file documentation, including regulatory disclosures.
β’ Requests preliminary title reports, appraisals, and flood certifications.
β’ Shares loan processing information with members and other stakeholders.
β’ Prepares loans for final underwriting approval.
β’ A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience is required, including direct experience as a real estate loan processor.
β’ An Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution.
β’ Up-to-date knowledge of real estate lending criteria (FNMA, FHLMC) is essential.
β’ Strong ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English, utilizing correct spelling and grammar.
β’ Basic mathematical skills, including the capacity to compute rates, ratios, and percentages using a 10-key calculator.
β’ Proficient in fundamental applications within a Windows-based environment, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
β’ Moderate typing skills at 40 words per minute.
β’ Exceptional customer service abilities.
