Senior Mortgage Loan Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Engage with clients to comprehend their financial goals and assist them throughout the mortgage application journey with meticulous attention.

• Evaluate client financial profiles, including income, credit history, and debt commitments, to ascertain eligibility and recommend appropriate loan solutions.

• Inform clients about the various loan options, terms, and rates available, ensuring they make knowledgeable decisions that align with their long-term financial objectives.

• Work in partnership with internal teams to streamline loan processing and guarantee timely closings.

• Ensure the confidentiality and security of client information consistently, adhering to stringent privacy policies and regulatory standards.

• Build enduring relationships with clients by providing outstanding service and ongoing support throughout the loan process.

• Remain informed about industry developments, market trends, and regulatory changes to deliver precise and current guidance to clients.

• Engage in business development efforts, networking events, and community initiatives to boost visibility and create new business opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience as a Loan Originator or Mortgage Loan Officer, with a history of successfully closing loans.

• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending practices, regulations, and compliance standards.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing a client-focused approach to service.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with mortgage origination software and tools is preferred.

• NMLS licensing as required.
