Senior Mortgage Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Engage with members both in-person and via brokers to identify their needs, provide mortgage solutions, and foster enduring relationships.

• Act as the primary contact for mortgage-related products and services.

• Establish and nurture connections with agents, builders, and other industry professionals.

• Identify and generate leads to form new mortgage partnerships.

• Contribute towards achieving both individual and team objectives.

• Mentor and support referral generation initiatives.

• Improve the overall member experience.

• Participate in community organizations and events to promote mortgage business and inform others about BECU's mortgage offerings.

• Function as a direct escalation point for member inquiries and concerns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in mortgage loan sales.

• Ability to independently generate mortgage volume of $12 million or more annually.

• Compliance with SAFE Act legislation, necessitating annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).

• Exceptional skills in relationship management, problem-solving, and customer service.

• Strong capabilities in sales, prospecting, and follow-up.

• High proficiency in mathematics with excellent accuracy, including complex income analysis.

• Capable of effective verbal and written communication in English.

• Willingness to travel moderately.
