Senior Mobile Software Engineer, iOS / Android, Identity & Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy high-performance native features for iOS and Android related to mobile authentication, password management, and identity verification applications.

• Integrate Credential Provider/Autofill, biometric authentication, secure storage with hardware backing, and OIDC/OAuth2 authentication processes.

• Manage the release processes for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Ensure UI testing coverage is maintained using XCTest and Espresso.

• Create mobile end-to-end integration test suites that work with core platform APIs.

• Engage in incident management, participate in post-incident reviews, and swiftly resolve incidents.

• Advocate for the BMAD framework to establish governance and structure in AI-assisted workflows utilizing Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.

• Provide mentorship to engineers, conduct RFC reviews, and develop shared skill libraries for the team.

• Collaborate with backend platform teams to safeguard enterprise identities globally.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12 years of professional experience in software development, primarily focused on delivering native mobile applications.

• Advanced proficiency in Swift or Kotlin, with a solid understanding or willingness to work across both platforms.

• Strong knowledge of App Transport Security (ATS), network security configurations, the trade-offs of certificate pinning, jailbreak/root detection, and best practices in cryptography.

• Practical experience in writing unit, UI, and integration tests using XCTest, Espresso, or contemporary end-to-end automation tools.

• Experience establishing mobile CI pipelines, including Bitrise, Fastlane, or GitHub Actions.

• Familiarity with crash reporting tools such as Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry.

• Demonstrated experience in integrating RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and OIDC client libraries into reactive mobile architectures.

• Previous involvement in developing enterprise security, Password Vault, or MFA applications.

• Experience with native desktop extensions or cross-platform security modules in production.

• Willingness and capability to participate in on-call shifts.

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.

• Must reside in and have authorization to work in India.
