Senior Mobile iOS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Create and improve iOS applications mainly using Swift, while aiding in the gradual upgrade of existing Objective-C components.

• Take charge of mobile features throughout the complete development lifecycle, from technical design to deployment.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to develop scalable and user-centric solutions.

• Engage in sprint planning, task estimation, and the delivery of iterative releases.

• Uphold high code quality through testing, code reviews, and established development best practices.

• Continuously assess and adopt new iOS technologies, frameworks, and industry standards.

• Utilize AI-driven tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, and similar solutions to enhance efficiency and streamline development processes.

• Offer technical mentorship to junior team members and contribute to a collaborative engineering environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing native iOS applications in a production setting.

• Strong expertise in Swift (with Objective-C experience considered a plus).

• Profound understanding of iOS fundamentals (memory management, concurrency, design patterns).

• Experience with contemporary iOS frameworks and tools (SwiftUI, Combine, UIKit, Core Data, etc.).

• Solid grasp of application architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.).

• Experience with networking and RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks and the ability to build reliable, maintainable code.

• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.

• Proficient in English.

• Must be based in any LATAM country.
