Senior Mobile Engineer, KMP/CMP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality mobile applications utilizing Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform with shared business logic and user interfaces across iOS and other platforms.

• Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested Kotlin code adhering to modern mobile development standards.

• Design intuitive and responsive user interfaces using Compose Multiplatform.

• Integrate shared Kotlin Multiplatform modules with native iOS APIs, including biometrics, Apple Wallet, keychain, and push notifications.

• Contribute to the shared KMP codebases.

• Collaborate with the broader engineering team and key customer stakeholders in a self-directed environment.

• Advocate for engineering excellence and best practices across KMP, CMP, and iOS development.

• Engage in unit testing, peer reviews, and discussions within the mobile community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical commercial experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).

• Knowledge of architecting and integrating shared codebases across multiple platforms.

• Hands-on experience with Compose Multiplatform or Jetpack Compose.

• Familiarity with modern mobile application architecture.

• Proficient in Kotlin and integrating shared KMP modules with native iOS APIs.

• Experience utilizing AI coding tools, such as Claude Code, in daily delivery processes.

• Strong emphasis on code quality, testing, and clean architecture principles.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a self-directed environment without dedicated product, design, or QA support.

• Preferred knowledge of the iOS platform, including Xcode, iOS frameworks, and tooling.

• Familiarity with Swift is a plus.

• Desirable experience in releasing iOS apps to the App Store from a KMP + CMP codebase.

• Desirable experience with Android / Jetpack Compose.
