Senior Mobile Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and contribute to the development of new features in our cross-platform TypeScript React Native application and Golang backend APIs.

• Oversee our release process, utilizing tools such as cohorting, feature flags, and app-store infrastructure to ensure a secure rollout to our millions of active users.

• Foster and maintain strong collaborative relationships with product, design, and business teams to ensure stakeholder needs are assessed and addressed.

• Collaborate with the team to consistently create clean, scalable, robust, and testable code.

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of your application, data domain, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional mobile development experience, including a minimum of 2 years in React Native or comparable technologies such as Flutter.

• Proficient in working with native code on iOS (Swift/ObjC) and Native Android (Kotlin/Java).

• Proven experience in developing and launching mobile applications on both Apple and Google’s app stores.

• In-depth understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance enhancement.

• Strong knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing (Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, Appium, etc.).

• Capable of leading features from inception to completion — covering requirements, design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

• Experience in mentoring junior or mid-level engineers.

• Skilled in conducting high-quality code reviews focusing on maintainability, clarity, and adherence to best practices.

• Influences technical decisions, suggests enhancements, and improves code quality across the team.

• Collaborates effectively with product managers, designers, backend developers, and QA teams.

• Demonstrated experience using Claude or equivalent large language model tools is necessary; candidates should be adept at utilizing AI to boost productivity, research, and communication.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science.

• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, etc.).
