Senior Mobile Engineer – Android, Technical Leadership

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and improve essential features by producing high-quality code and engaging in the platform's key strategic projects.

• Direct architectural choices, converting complex issues into scalable, robust, and maintainable solutions.

• Establish and advocate engineering, architecture, and quality benchmarks.

• Propel platform advancement through incremental releases, ensuring a balance of innovation, quality, and ongoing value delivery to the organization.

• Design strong solutions for an Offline First environment, taking into account data synchronization, intermittent connectivity, and integration with native device functionalities.

• Encourage automated testing, observability, continuous integration, and best development practices.

• Serve as a technical mentor by conducting code reviews and sharing expertise.

• Collaborate with Product, QA, Support, DevOps, and other departments.

• Articulate technical decisions, risks, strategies, and project updates in both Portuguese and English to a variety of audiences, including global leadership.

• Contribute to the technical advancement of the mobile platform utilized in mining operations.

• Proven experience in software development, particularly in mobile platforms.

• Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.

• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to mobile development.

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration tools.

• Excellent communication skills in both Portuguese and English.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
